Our work to inform every passerby is never done. Recently we have expanded Newman Print and built a state of the art printing facility as a way for advertisers to promote goods and services through large format projects including vehicle wraps and more.

Newman Signs manufactures and distributes traffic signs, billboards, posters, vinyl posters, banners, specialty signs and contracts urban work. Newman Signs is proud to be one of the nation’s 10th largest sign manufacturing and printing companies. It has been owned and operated by the Newman family for almost 70 years.
Newman Signs was founded by Harold Newman in 1956. Mr. Newman began the business in his mother-in-law’s garage painting signs to pay for college tuition. Upon graduation Newman moved the business to Jamestown, ND where it is today. Newman Signs initially concentrated on billboards and only had eight employees in 1972, which turned out to be a turning point in the company’s history.
Newman Signs has grown over the years by acquiring sign companies, moving into traffic sign sales and manufacturing, adding a digital printing division, as well as adding a commercial and residential fence division. Our billboard structures and traffic signs are manufactured at our Jamestown location. The main office is located in Jamestown, with divisions in Bismarck, Fargo, Grand Forks, and Minot, ND.
