- Preparing screen printing stencils, mixing, and loading ink, cleaning equipment
- Verifying and following information before printing including ink color matching and verification
- Pushing a variety of inks through a stencil and ink-block mesh to create specific designs
- Printing with repeatable results, anticipating, recognizing, and fixing possible issues with ink and press
- Place finished signs into racks
- Verify the proper quantity has been printed before cleaning and breaking down for the next job
CAREER DETAILS
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Preparing screen printing stencils, mixing, and loading ink, cleaning equipment
- Verifying and following information before printing including ink color matching and verification
- Pushing a variety of inks through a stencil and ink-block mesh to create specific designs
- Printing with repeatable results, anticipating, recognizing, and fixing possible issues with ink and press
- Place finished signs into racks
- Verify the proper quantity has been printed before cleaning and breaking down for the next job
COMPETENCIES
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Work well with your hands to make incredible products for our customers
- Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing) must be perfected
- Ability to work well under pressure to output high volume as well as quality work
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as lift 25 lbs. or more
- Ability to lean over a waist-high table and use back forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics to substrate
HOURS OF WORK
- 4-day workweek (Mon-Thur)
- 5:00 am to 3:30 pm
- No travel required
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma / GED
